Project Overview
Waterloo United (WatUnited), otherwise known as Waterloo Minor Soccer, is a non-profit organization, coupled with a positive learning environment and excellent quality resources, staff and programs. They encourage both adults and children in the City of Waterloo to enjoy the “Beautiful Game” – Soccer. Since its inception in 1971, registrations have increasingly grown due to incredible volunteers, administrators, and staff.

Pain Points
WatUnited came to Token with an outdated website that was not converting and lacking marketing campaigns. Their registrants did plateau for a few years, which brought them to Token. They desired to grow their registrants, and grow their social media (which was almost non-existent).

Methods
Token knew that WatUnited needed a new and updated social profile. In order to provide this, Token updated the look and feel of their website and social media channels. Token then took to the challenge of getting WatUnited a Google Grant, which provided $10,000 in free advertisements! The combination of Google Ads and Facebook Ads helped to grow their following, which in turn improved their registration numbers!

They also increased WatUnited’s conversions over 20x the average rate in Google and created 401K impressions on Facebook! For Token, the costs per clicks on Facebook was only $0.25/click, which is at least 5x less than the industry average.
